Frequently Asked Questions

Q - Can I get a picture of myself and/or other family members with my pet as part of the package?

A - Absolutely! There is no extra cost involved so make sure you bring a hairbrush or lippy on the day of the shoot!

Q - How does the process work?

A - Once you decide on which package you would like, we book in a time, date and venue for the shoot. This can be anywhere you like - a park, the beach or your own backyard. On the day of the shoot I like to allow about 15 minutes of "getting to know you" time before we start shooting. This allows your pet/s to get to know me (and my camera) as well as the opportunity for us to talk about the images you would like me to take. Once the shoot is completed, I will set up a private online gallery for you to view the images and select the ones you wish to have printed.

Q - How long will it be before I receive my prints?

A - Please allow up to 15 working days for your online gallery to be ready. You will be notified of this via email, and from this you choose your prints. Once you notify me of your choice/s, please allow up to another 15 working days to receive them. Prints are usually posted but delivery or pick-up can also be arranged. If you have a deadline you need to meet, please let me know as this can almost always be achieved!

Q - What if it's raining on the day of our shoot?

A - In the event of rain we can either a) choose an alternative venue or b) postpone the shoot. I will contact you on the morning of the shoot should the weather be in doubt. There are no extra costs involved.

Q - I have more than two pets. Will that cost extra?

A - Each package offered allows for up to two pets. Additional pets are an extra $30 each. (see Pricing)

Q - What should I do for my pet before the shoot?

A - Being clean, brushed and cuddled is all the preparation pets need! (It is also good for the hair around the eyes to be clipped.)

Q - Which methods of payment are accepted by Pet Clix?

A - Pet Clix accepts credit card payments via the PayPal system. Payment via direct deposit, cash or cheque are also all accepted. Direct deposit details will be provided at time of booking.

Q - Does Pet Clix provide Gift Certificates?

A - Yes! All Gift Certificates are personalised and are valid for six months from the date of issue. If express post is required, an additional charge of $10 will apply.
